HR Recruitment & Onboarding

The purpose of Recruitment & Onboarding is to ensure an efficient and professional recruitment and employment process at DTU. Our most important task is therefore to attract, attach, and hire the right employees for the right positions at the right time. We act as a sounding board for the hiring managers and contribute to creating a professional recruitment and hiring process that is experienced as effective and in a positive manner by both candidates and the organization. We advise managers/the organization on the entire recruitment process from posting to hiring.

If you are a Line Manager Assistant (LMA), we ask you to create a support case, including sending questions to HR, via DTU Service Portal if your inquiry concerns one of the topics listed below.

  1. Assess the need for an appointment or extension.
  2. Recruit an employee via posting of vacancy.
  3. Hire an employee without posting of vacancy.
  4. Prepare a job advertisement.
  5. Onboard international employees, including work and residence permit.  
  6. Get a status of contracts/extensions.
  7. Enroll a ph.d.
  8. Teaching assistants
