Work Environmental discussion (AMD)

At the end of each year, the Work Environmental Committee at each university unit will conduct a systematic working environment discussion and prepare a written working environment action plan for the coming year. This discussion is conducted at the same time in all university units to ensure the link to the Corporate Work Environmental Committee’s work.

The annual working environment discussion deals with the state of the working environment in the university unit, which challenges and priorities the university unit faces, as well as the organization of the collaboration on the occupational health and safety work in the university unit. During the annual working environment discussion, the Work Environmental Committee at the university unit thus addresses a number of items and maintains the discussions in the university unit’s dynamic working environment action plan

Working environment action plans
The committee’s working environment action plan is updated regularly. Action points are thus not only based on the annual working environment discussion, but also as follow-up to, for example learning from accidents, mapping from workplace assessment (APV), supervision and inspections by the Danish Working Environment Authority, etc.

The action plans state who is responsible for taking action in response to a working environment problem. The Work Environmental Committee’s members are thus not responsible for resolving the problems if this can be done better elsewhere.
It is possible to use the software platform DTU SafetyNet for maintaining and continuously updating the university unit's working environment action plan.
