Occupational Health and Safety coordinator network

In recognition that the senior manager of the university units has a major task in relation to the working environment, it has been decided that the management of each university unit will appoint a working environment coordinator (AMK), who, on behalf of the senior manager of the university unit, will help strengthen the dialogue and coordinate the working environment work - internally as well as with the other university units.

Working environment coordinators from each university unit meet in DTU's Working Environment Coordinator Network with a view to cross-disciplinary cooperation, knowledge sharing and exchange of experiences. In addition, the AMK network functions as a link and can bring attention to/from the Group Working Environment Committee (KAMU).

The AMK network is run by DTU's central working environment secretariat. Meetings are held four times a year, which can be supplemented with ad-hoc meetings as needed. The network meetings focus on themes within physical or mental working environment, respectively. Meetings on physical working environment are facilitated by CAS Working Environment and Emergency Management, and meetings on mental working environment are facilitated by Group HR.

It provides an opportunity to delve deeper into the themes that fill and help balance the fact that the work environment organization focuses on both the mental and physical working environment at DTU.

The AMK network is facilitated with a focus on:

  • Strengthening and developing the working environment at DTU
  • Creating relationships between the AMKs
  • Exchange of experience and sparring on all topics within the working environment
  • Knowledge of the latest trends within the working environment
  • Information on central DTU initiatives Strengthening the collaboration between the local working environment groups and LSU
