Defibrillator maps

Some departments have invested in their own defibrillators.

Below you can get a quick overview of the locations of registered defibrillator at DTU’s campuses.

The defibrillators are marked with a heart symbol on the maps:

• Lyngby campus
• Risø campus
• Ballerup campus

By using mouseover on the individual heart symbols, you get the exact location of the defibrillator.

How to obtain a defibrillator

To acquire a defibrillator, please contact CAS AB. CAS AB has contact with the Safety Group, which DTU has entered into a service and support agreement with concerning defibrillator service (replacement of electrodes and batteries).

CAS AB ensures that the service plan covers new defibrillators and the registration of the defibrillator on TrygFonden’s Hjertestarter.dk.

The department is responsible for the costs of acquiring and placing defibrillators. Placement is ordered via DTU's error reporting and order system. 

Remember the defibrillator when moving

If the department moves location or wishes to move the defibrillator, CAS AB must be contacted so the change of the defibrillator’s location is registered at TrygFonden’s hjertestarter.dk.

Moving of a defibrillator is ordered via the order system, and the department is responsible for the costs.

Battery replacement

The defibrillator begins to beep when the battery needs replacing. When this happens, contact CAS AB and state the location. CAS AB ensures that a consultant from the Safety Group is called as soon as possible to make the necessary battery change.

Placement

The departments are advised to follow the TrygFonden’s instructions on outdoor placement, but otherwise, the defibrillators should be placed at strategic locations such as:

• Main entrances / receptions
• Large common areas such as canteens, auditoriums, data bars, etc.
