Text message (SMS) warning system

DTU has a text message (SMS) warning system which can be used for sending emergency announcements in case of an emergency.

Work-related mobile numbers

Your work mobile number is automatically transferred from DTUBasen to the alert system, so no action is required on your part.

Secondary phone number, including home phone number

If you do not have a work mobile phone or want to assign a secondary phone number (including your home number) in the alert system, you can add the desired number as follows:

  1. Open Inside
  2. Settings (top bar)
  3. My profile
  4. Edit your personal data in the DTUbase
  5. Log in
  6. Change personal data
  7. Account data that can be edited freely
  8. Type in your phone number under SMS number

Only key persons at DTU can send SMS alerts. For broadcasting an emergency announcement, please contact DTU’s Corporate Emergency Management - call (+45) 45 25 33 55.
