Changes to employment

There are often changes to employment. Some changes are due to your circumstances changing, and others arise from DTU's development. The vast majority of these changes will be completely natural, either because of your personal development or as a result of new technologies and new ways of working.

For changes due to DTU's situation, DTU may regularly introduce changes to your employment conditions that lie within your job content. However, DTU must give notice of major changes, in line with the applicable rules on notification of changes in the employment relationship. The notification period depends on the nature and significance of the change and must be assessed case-by-case.

In some areas, general rules apply to changes:

For non-EU citizens

If you are a foreigner and non-EU citizen, please note that changes to your employment may mean that you have to apply for a new work permit. You must therefore always check your work permit if changes are made to your employment. Such changes could be an extension, change of position or relocation.
