If you change your position at DTU and if your work and residence permit is valid for a specific position at DTU, you might need to apply for a new work and residence permit.
It is very important that you apply
before your current residence permit expires!
If the basis of your residence in Denmark changes, if you change the type of work and residence permit, e.g. your PhD permit to a postdoc permit/ accompanying family permit to a researcher permit/ green card to PhD permit or similar
the new permit must be issued before you are allowed to start working in the new position.
If the basis of your residence in Denmark do not change, if you continue working on the same type of work and residence permit e.g. under the researcher scheme or pay limit scheme you are allowed to continue working while SIRI processes your application.
However, it is very important that you apply
before your current residence permit expires and
before you start working in your new position!
